Keep the context of the stream

When Twitch provides the chat archive, NoSub loads it automatically and synchronizes messages to the VOD timeline. Pausing, seeking and resuming the video changes the chat position too.

You can save the replay locally in your history, add a bookmark to a moment, or create a short clip from the real video timeline.

Fix common Twitch playback problems

Most playback issues come from the source, not the player. If a Twitch VOD never starts or the loader keeps spinning, the recording is usually deleted, expired or sub-only and no longer public — NoSub cannot restore it. If it played for a moment and then froze, the direct Twitch source likely dropped and NoSub fell back to its compatible player on its own.

• Stuttering or buffering: choose a fixed quality instead of Source. Source is the heaviest stream and mobile connections stay steadier at 720p.
• Black frame or no sound right after a jump: pause for a second so the new position can buffer, then play.
• Chat stopped moving: it only advances while the video plays, and jumping far ahead reloads the chat around the new timestamp.
• Only 480p on a 60 fps stream: NoSub lists exactly the variants Twitch returns, and some broadcasts do not expose every quality.
